We have won one of the most prestigious awards in the Tourism business. You probably recognize the "World Travel Awards" if you are in the industry or interested in this kind of award. If you are not very aware of it or don't really understand what it stands for, don't worry. We are here to tell you about the awards, the process, and how we won.

What did we win?

The World Travel Awards have many categories and an extensive selection of candidates. We specifically won the Leading South American Adventure Tour Operator award, which means we are the best rewarded for operating adventure travel in South America.

We had a hard competition this year, but still, we came victorious.

How did we win?

The World Travel Wards selection process starts with a nomination or postulation for a destination, brand, service, or product. After the selection process ends, the nominee list is published and then is the time the elections begin.

Every member has to go through the marketing and promotion for the elections. Our dear customers and guests vote and support their preferred choice between the nominees. Thanks to your support, we came victorious.

This is the second time we have won in the category and the third time we have been nominated for the World Travel Awards.

What are the World Travel Awards?

The World Travel Awards are considered "the Oscars of the Tourism Industry," meaning that they are the most prestigious awards in the world.

The WTA intends to recognize and help promote the different destinations and services you can access while traveling, rewarding the best of the best. That is part of what has made them the most recognizable and respected awards worldwide.

Some History on the WTA

Since its foundation in 1993 and first ceremony in 1994, the WTA's values have remained clear: to recognize tourist services from around the world.

It started slow, and they didn't have global reach at first. However, they began to grow, and now they are the most important and recognized award in the tourism industry.

To better understand how important and relevant the World Travel Awards are, they currently hold regional competitions to help promote more destinations around the world, recognize different businesses, and expand their support to more places.
